Wiwiurka's triangular rope climber/ladder is equipment designed for children to strengthen their gross motor skills as climbing helps them strengthening their arms and legs, eye-hand coordination and balance, among other skills.

It is important to mention that physical movement at an early age is a foundation for reading-writing and analytical thinking.

Enjoy watching your child(ren) and their friends using this fantastic climbing structure. Children can also swing, twirl and do acrobatics with it. Besides strengthening their gross motor skills, your children can also let their imagination go: "Look, mom, I'm taking off in the spaceship!"

  • Suggestions

+ Try not to help your child to climb, children develop at different rates and depending on their ability and age they will climb at their own pace.

+ Remain close by, so your child feels comfortable in the rope ladder. The safest way to climb is from the inside of the climber.

+ Only one child should climb at once. Place a carpet underneath the climber.

Wiwiurka is not responsible for any incident that could occur from the misuse of the rope ladder. Children under 4 or children with special needs should use the climber under an adult's supervision.

Frequently asked questions:

  • What do I need to hang it?

To hang it from a Concrete ceiling:
Place an expansion plug with an eyebolt that can support a weight of 80kg (176.37lb).

  1. Wood:
Place a safety eyebolt that can support a weight of 175 Lbs

  2. From drywall
The general recommendation is to only hang swings, hammocks or any heavy object from a support beam on your roof. We also recommend asking for guidance at your local hardware store.

  3. From a tree branch:
Please make sure to find a tree with a middle age and height, because the branch would have to be at least 11.5 feet tall.

The trees of hardwood like Oaks, Ash or Alder are recommended. Use only branches of at least 6" in diameter.

There are many ways to hang the swings or accessories from the tree branch. You can find many suggestions online. We suggest the easiest and safest way we hang all of our outside structures.

Use a piece of flexible hose (3 inches shorter than the tree branch's circumference, where the climber will be hanged) to protect the extra rope from grazing, where the ladder will be hanged.

Once the rope is inside the hose, knot the rope to the branch. A bowline knot is ideal. The carabiner will hang from the knot keyhole, along with the ladder. Ready to enjoy!

Check the rope at least once a year for any wear and replace if necessary. Please feel free to contact us if you need replacement material.

  • Is it safe for my son/daughter to climb this ladder?
The ladder's design reduces risks of injury but doesn’t avoid it. We suggest remaining close to your children the first couple of weeks while they get used to it. Children under the age of 4 or with special needs must use the ladder only under the supervision of an adult.

  • How many children can use the ladder at the same time?
To be safe, one child, although we have seen up to 5 kids inside and outside of the climber!

  • Should children climb from the inside or the outside?
Both. We suggest that children under the age of 5 climb from the inside because the risk to fall is minimized.
